I would have to say that I write simply to express myself – whoever I am at that moment and whatever I am feeling at the moment. There are times that I blog daily, sometimes more than once a day. There are also times that I look at the screen and cannot think of one thing to write.
Man its an awesome feeling. Before I started working I was sore and stayed in bed a lot due to boredom. Stay in bed too long and you get sore.
This is a good sore. My muscles have been used in ways I had forgotten and they need to be moved. I feel strength building in my body again. I sleep like a rock and wake almost exactly 7 hours after I fall asleep.
I don’t wake up bouncing off the walls and raring to go, but I do wake up and want out of the bed to start my day.
I am also becoming aware of things to write about in the future. I have fun at work, meet some very interesting strange people, and am constantly approached about my accent. You never know that you have an accent into you move into an entirely different area. Of course, I think their accents are pretty cool, too!
I believe the answer to the question “why do you write?” is as simple as “what is going on in my life at the moment.” My life inspires my writing.
